Who I am in 150 Characters or Less

Hello, readers! This entry is going to be a little different than my previous ones. It's more of a rant than anything else. I'm going to be writing about the bio length limit on certain social media sites. How am I supposed to share with my fellow humans who I am as a person in 150 characters or less? What if someone comes up with an introduction of themself that's both warm and witty, but it has to be cut down because, according to the site, it's  "too long." So a few words are cut, but it's still too long, a few more, the same thing. Then you cut words again. Your bio is acceptable to the site now, but for you, it's stripped of the wittiness it once had.
It honestly reminds me of the publishing industry, and how your book is chopped and chopped to the point where you no longer recognize it as the book you wrote.

Not Your Usual Story

Hello, readers! I apologize again for not writing an entry for a while. I promise that the next one won't take weeks. Anyway, this entry is about how my husband and I met. It's quite a story, let me tell you. Before I get into it, I'll say that there are a lot more details in the story than what I'm going to reveal here, details I might write about in the future. Okay, now onto this entry.

Back in 2012, I had past life regression, and during the regression, I learned the identity of a boy I'd seen in dreams and visions all my life. He was my beau in my previous life in Victorian Era England. In that life, I died days before my 16th birthday, and the boy destroyed himself because of my death. My spirit and all his loved ones tried to snap him out of this, but he was too broken to be reached.

At the end of the regression, I learned that the boy was reincarnated, and just moved to England with his family. More than anything, I wanted to be reunited with him, but I lived in New York and he was in England. I didn't let that be an obstacle, however, and began reading books about astral projection.

From my bedroom in my East Village apartment, I let my spirit go to the astral plane. Since it was the karma in our previous life that needed to be cleared up, I decided that I would project to him as my former self.

In the astral plane, I located his energy, and, after many attempts, I projected to him outside a small chapel in Yorkshire. Once we saw each other, our love picked up right where it left off.

Like I said, there are a LOT more details, but this is all I feel like revealing for now. Anyway, I hope you liked this entry.

Which Hat Looks Better Part II

Hello, readers, and happy Friday the 13th! Sorry I haven't written an entry since the last day of September, but I've just had a bit of writer's block. This entry will be kinda short, but I promise my next one will be longer.
Anyway, here's the second part to my first entry "Which Hat Looks Better?" The original entry: (http://liashekinahbailey.blogspot.com/2017/09/which-hat-looks-better.html)

What this entry is about is the inspiration brought on by the encounter my mother and I had with this man. We don't believe he was a spirit. Instead we believe that he was on a vibrational level where not everyone could see him. He wasn't the first encounter of that nature, thoughthere have been a few others, but those are different stories.
That's where the inspiration comes in. It occurred to my mother to use the vibrational level thing for a quartet we're working on. She wasn't even trying to come up with that idea, it just happened. The man will be in the acknowledgements, as the quartet wouldn't have had that plot element if not for our encounter with him.

Yesterday During My Hike...

As today is the last day of September, of course this is the last blog entry of this month. Here's what my blog will cover in October: A Part II to my first entry, "Which Hat Looks Better", and an entry about how my husband and I met. Now onto THIS entry.
Now I take hikes almost daily, but something happened during my hike yesterday that I felt I had to blog about. I heard a voice, and I don't mean a voice in my head (I'm used to that).
While the hike was enjoyable, I'm ready to go home. I start to walk back when I hear something that makes me stop in my tracks. "Soon we will meet once more, Lia." That voice... it couldn't be more familiar. I don't need to ask who this is, and I know I don't need to tell him how much we've missed him—he already knows.
Now I'm sure you're wondering the identity of this voice. I will tell you this much: it was someone I lovesomeone neither I nor my husband (the "we've") have met up with for over a century.
INNER MAGNETS, Volume Two of THE TAMMABUKKU CHRONICLES, is going to be published in November. When it is, I'm pretty sure you guys will know the identity of the voice by the time you finish chapter XV.
So, that's all for this entry. Next time I see you guys, it will be a new month. So long September, hello Octoberthe beginning of the Hallothanksmas season.

My Thoughts on Superstition

Hello readers! As I promised, I'm back with a new entry after a few days. This entry will be about the subject of the superstition, and how I feel about it.

Superstition can manifest in many ways, and I will be talking about some of those ways. First I will discuss social media superstitions, and then the classic ones. One I see everywhere is basically this: "If you don't send this chain message to twenty other people, than a ghost girl will kill you in your sleep." I find the concept ridiculous, and I'm glad many people don't take it seriously.

Here's another chain message I see everywhere. It tries to convince people that if they forward the message to 20 other people, then God will bless them with many wonderful things, but if they don't, then the wonderful things will not happen for you. So basically, you're saying that our Creator will only do this based on an internet chain message and how many times it's forwarded.

Another one I see, mostly on Facebook, tries to say that if a Facebook post doesn't get a certain amount of shares, than Jesus will take away the life of a child with cancer. Whenever I see that, I think to myself, "And you're claiming this using  Jesus' name." Jesus could care less about Facebook shares, so he most certainly will NOT take away a child's life over them.

Now onto the classic superstitions. I will start by saying that in my experience with Friday the 13th, the only "bad" things that happened were the same small mistakes that could happen on any other day. No matter what challenges my life brings, I'm grateful that I'm not one of those people who believe that their life will turn to hell by the sight of a black kitty crossing their path, or a hat tossed on the bed.
So, I've said my piece on the subject of superstition. If you laugh at any of the superstitions I talked about, know I'm laughing with you.

"My name is Raven. People were going to kill me because of the color of my fur., but my life was saved by a loving boy.  Read more about me in SERCH BYTHOL, Volume One of THE TAMMABUKKU CHRONICLES."

Intermission

"Hello, good people, I am Pete. You may be wondering, 'who the hell are you?', so I will tell you. I was the man from two entries ago--you know, 'you cuckoo bananas blogger'? Today's entry will be about how my boss is the biggest pain in the--"

"Pete!" I interrupt.  "My readers are not here to listen to you complain about your boss."

"Come on, Lia!" Pete protests. "Someone's gotta expose that jerk!"

I sigh. "Pete, expose your boss on your own blog."

"Fine!" growls Pete. Walking away, he mutters, "Stick in the mud."

Sorry about Pete, readers. Anyway, now for news about the next entry. I'm a bit busy and I don't know exactly what the entry will be about yet, so it might take a few days. This entry is an intermission of sorts, which is why I titled it "intermission". I will use this intermission to tell you the kind of entries my blog will include. I don't only write entries about metaphysical subjects; I also write entries about some of my life experiences. For example, my first entry was about a man my mother and I met one afternoon. I would also write an entry about a quirky Thanksgiving. Anyway, that's all I wanted to say. See you guys in the next real entry!
